Elton John AIDS Foundation Joins the Fight Against HIV/AIDS in North Carolina

Exciting News:

The Elton John AIDS Foundation has awarded a $50,000 grant to the North Carolina AIDS Action Network (NCAAN) to support its efforts to advance responsible HIV prevention and treatment policies and reduce HIV-related stigma.

We could not be more grateful for this support, which allows us to hire a Community Organizer and to greatly expand our education and advocacy efforts in 2012.

The Elton John AIDS Foundation is one of the world’s leading nonprofits working to reduce the incidence of HIV/AIDS through innovative HIV prevention programs, efforts to eliminate stigma and discrimination associated with HIV/AIDS, and direct treatment and care services for people living with HIV/AIDS.
